Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM) had its origins in
China over 5,000 years ago and has become
widely accepted over the past 3 decades
in the west.
Acupuncture
and herbs are both an integral part of TCM.
It has now been established as a profession
in Australia and has proved to be safe and
effective.
Legislation has now been introduced in Victoria and practitioners must be registered with The Chinese Medicine Registration Board, ensuring the delivery of high quality health care to the public.
