Melbourne Psychology Services
Many people find it difficult to cope at times, and all people experience hardship at some time in their life. Sometimes people find that things become overwhelming or perplexing. They may feel depressed, or become anxious or moody and not understand why. Many people suffer from a traumatic event that they have difficulty coming to terms with. Or perhaps they just feel that they need someone to talk to. Psychological Therapy can help with these kind of issues by providing a time and place to talk through problems and gain an understanding of why we react to things the way we do.
All the psychologists at Yarraville Health Group have completed a Doctorate of Psychology involving seven years full time study, and have each worked for over five years as registered psychologists. Treatment approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychotherapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Couples and Family Therapy. All psychologists are committed to providing the highest standard of psychological care. They attend regular professional development courses, peer support meetings, and mentoring to and from other psychologists to ensure they provide the most up to date evidence based treatment.
